At first it seemed like it was a momentary interruption; but as of 4pm EDT, the site has been down for the entire day. The most popular free dating site in the entire world is relied upon by millions; but unfortunately as of this writing, no explanation for the down time has been given. Rumours have started to spring up regarding the possible permanency of the downage; but at this point there is no evidence to suggest that there is anything more involved then technical difficulties. In the meantime, you could always try MATE1.COM which is another great site with free registration and millions of profiles. We hope to have more information on Plentyoffish down time shortly.
Update Aug 10/10 )- The site is STILL down. A message on their site refers to a whole series of problems occurring. We expect it to be back up before long.
